Covid-19 Updates

Last updated June 2022

My goal is to always be understanding, easy-to-work-with, and flexible during all of this unfortunate COVID-19 chaos. I operate my photography business with core values of honesty, transparency, and respect. Your health and well being are my absolute TOP priority. I want to help ease your minds going forward, so that you have one less thing to worry about at this time. Please know that I am keeping up to date with all WHO and CDC recommendations as well as their travel advisories. I am also keeping a close eye on my own health, to make sure I don’t contract the virus or spread it.

How I will help:

  • I will be flexible with you about cancellations and postponements, should COVID affect you or someone you live with or came in contact with prior. There are still many unknowns and stresses right now, due to COVID-19, and I want to help make photography one less stressful thing to worry about :)

  • I wash my hands thoroughly before every photo shoot and sanitize my hands periodically during every photo shoot.

  • I won’t shake your hand or hug you when we meet and depart (I'm normally a hugger). We can just awkwardly wave or fist bump, haha ;-P

  • I will keep my distance during our photo session as much as possible, unless you request a specific shot that requires me to get closer, which I will make sure to have a mask on if that should make you more comfortable. I will also be sure to choose lenses that let me stay a little further away if that makes you more comfortable.

  • I will wear a mask during sessions, if preferred.

  • When it comes to payment, I accept the following:

    • Cashier's check or money order (no personal checks at this time) - payment will be exchanged at the very end of the session immediately after session completion.

    • If you would like to pay electronically, the options are: Paypal, Chase QuickPay/QuickPay with Zelle, or Venmo - we will complete the payment together at the very end of the session, before parting ways (to ensure it is done correctly and the payment goes through).

  • If you would like to get together and discuss further details/ideas prior to your session, I am one hundred percent okay with that. If you are more comfortable doing this meeting digitally, your options would be: video chat via Google Meet/Hangouts, Skype, Zoom or even Facebook Messenger. If you're okay with an in-person meeting, we can meet over coffee/lunch prior to your session. You are also of course welcome to just call me via telephone number at 321.345.8083.

  • I will be honest with you about my own health and my travel schedule, if applicable.

  • I will minimize my personal exposure to large events, sick people, and crowded places as much as possible prior to your photo session.

Coronavirus FAQ for portrait clients:

  • Postponing your photoshoot due to Coronavirus: If you need to delay your photoshoot due to circumstances caused by the virus, please reach out as soon as possible, and I can send you a list of new date options. Don't worry, your deposit will transfer to the new date and will still go towards the cost of your photography package.

  • Canceling your photoshoot due to Coronavirus:  If you absolutely feel the need to have to cancel your session because of the virus and fear of your own safety, I will return 50% of your deposit back to you.

  • What happens if YOU get sick before our photoshoot? If you are feeling unwell (cough, fever, body aches & even extreme allergies) before a photoshoot, please call or email me as soon as possible, and we can postpone it until you are healthier! Seriously, it’s not a problem at all - just please inform me instead of showing up sick!

  • What happens if I get sick before our photoshoot? If I feel sick (cough, fever, body aches or even extreme allergies) before your photoshoot, I will inform you as soon as possible and ask how you would like to proceed. I vow to be honest with you about my own health, so that you can make an educated decision.

    • Here are two options:

      • We can postpone the photoshoot by several weeks, to allow me to get well. The deposit will transfer to the new date.

      • If you cannot postpone, we can cancel the photoshoot, and I will return the deposit in full.
